Unbaited, motion-activated camera traps are a relatively non-invasive method of recording mammal numbers. Many mammals, such as deer, foxes, badgers, squirrels, and pine martens may be recorded on the cameras. The camera also records many birds, so the volume of photographs is quite high. MAMMALNET Ireland needs your help to analyse the photos and tell them what has been captured – who knows what you will see!
