Get Involved

Part of being a regenerative tourist is trying to give something back to local communities. One way to do that is by helping with some of the Citizen Science activities we have listed below. These activities allow you to get involved in helping local communities monitor their environments and landscapes.

The PhotoPost app has been designed specifically as part of the Coastal Uplands: Heritage and Tourism project and is an easy way to support Coastal Uplands communities.

The other apps listed are existing activities where the data you collect on your visit will form part of larger campaigns and datasets. You do not have to do everything, but we do encourage you to try at least one. Each site page has a suggested activity that works well at that location, why not use this as a guide if you are finding it hard to choose from the list below.
